DESCRIPTION:Rootead Enrichment Center will be closed for Winter Break from Saturday\, December 21st – Wednesday\, January 1st. We will resume regular hours on Thursday\, January 2nd. \nProgramming will be temporarily paused during this period. Kalamazoo Baby Café at Rootead will not be running during this period on December 26th. \nDoula services and select programs such as Grief Circle will not be affected.

DESCRIPTION:Grief Circle\nIf you are experiencing grief\, we welcome you to our monthly Grief Circles held last Saturdays of the month\, 10:00AM – 12:00PM and facilitated by Rootead Staff.\nThis is a monthly gathering to hold space and provide support to others as well as oneself. Collectively practicing simple tools to help make space around grief and continue to find joy and wonder in the world. \n  \nOur Grief Circles are offered at no charge\, but we welcome donations to help cover the cost of doing this work. \nWhen: Last Saturday of the month\, 10 AM -noon beginning October 2024 and running through May 2025 \nWhere: Rootead Studio \n  \n\nWhat is grief? \nGrief is the experience of coping with loss. Grief can accompany any event that disrupts or challenges our sense of normalcy or ourselves.
