DESCRIPTION:Grief Circle\nIf you are experiencing grief\, we welcome you to our monthly Grief Circles held fourth Saturdays of the month\, 10:00AM – 12:00PM and facilitated by Rootead Staff.\nThis is a monthly gathering to hold space and provide support to others as well as oneself. Collectively practicing simple tools to help make space around grief and continue to find joy and wonder in the world. \n  \nOur Grief Circles are offered at no charge\, but we welcome donations to help cover the cost of doing this work. \nWhen: Last Saturday of the month\, 10 AM -noon beginning October 2024 and running through May 2025 \nWhere: Rootead Studio \nREGISTER TO ATTEND HERE \n  \n\nWhat is grief? \nGrief is the experience of coping with loss. Grief can accompany any event that disrupts or challenges our sense of normalcy or ourselves. SUMMARY:Rootead in Youth - Spring Session
DESCRIPTION:Rootead in Youth (RIY) is a holistic cultural arts program for children ages 2 – 8 years old that features communal affirmations\, West African dance\, Djembe drumming\, call and response songs from the African diaspora\, an obstacle course highlighting fundamental movement skills\, and nervous system regulation techniques. \n  \nRIY Spring Session 2025 will be Saturdays: March 8\, March 15\, March 22\, March 29\, April 5 \nThe schedule for each RIY Saturday is: \n\n10:00am – 10:45am: 2 – 3 year olds\n11:00am – 11:45am: 4 – 5 year olds\n12:00pm – 12:45pm: 6 – 8 year olds\n\n  \nThe cost for this program is $65. Scholarships are available and can be applied for directly in the registration form. REGISTER HERE \nRegistration closes on March 6\, 2025.
