10th Anniversary Gala - November 1, 2025

Step into ancestral rhythms and revelry at Rootead’s African Masquerade—a celebration of cultural roots, transformation, and joyful mystery. Inspired by traditional masquerade practices from across the African continent, this immersive evening features drumming, dance, storytelling, and visual art in a dynamic, immersive setting.

Guests are encouraged to wear masks and expressive attire as we honor the transformative energy of the masquerade tradition. The night also includes a silent auction with unique items generously donated by local businesses and community members.

This event is a fundraiser in support of Rootead’s overall operations, helping sustain our core programs in community healing, youth enrichment, and birth justice. Every ticket purchased, auction bid placed, and sponsor contribution made directly fuels Rootead’s mission to reclaim the village through cultural liberation and the healing arts.
