Rootead in Youth (RIY) is a holistic cultural arts program for children ages 2 – 8 years old that features communal affirmations, West African dance, Djembe drumming, call and response songs from the African diaspora, an obstacle course highlighting fundamental movement skills, and nervous system regulation techniques.

RIY Fall Session 2024 will be Saturdays: October 5, October 12, October 19, October 26, November 2

The schedule for each RIY Saturday is:

• 10:00am – 10:45am: 2 – 3 year olds
• 10:45am – 11:30am: 4 – 5 year olds
• 11:30am – 12:15pm: 6 – 8 year olds
