Rootead in Growth

Cultivating Our Future

youth enrichment banner in red lettering and green leaves at the end of the Y, H, and T and as the dot on the letter I. To the left is the Rootead logo, below is a segmented line with red, black, and green and in brown letters reads "a branch of rootead.org"

When you donate to Rootead’s Youth Enrichment branch, you are investing in the creative potential, cultural identity, and emotional well-being of young people in our community. Our programs are designed to provide youth with a space to explore their artistic talents, develop discipline, and build confidence through dance, drumming, and other cultural practices rooted in African traditions.

By contributing, you help provide essential resources that make our programs accessible to all. Your donation ensures that students can enjoy healthy snacks fueling their energy during long practices, transportation to and from rehearsals, summer camp supplies and enrollment, traditional African attire for performances, youth ambassador professional development, field trips and more.

Youth Support

Funds will contribute directly to our annual youth showcase, performance travel, healthy snacks/meals for after-school practices, costumes, summer camp programming, back to school giveaways, and general upkeep of the studio.

Mentorship Programs

Expand our mentorship and leadership development opportunities for young people, fostering skills in the arts, wellness, and community leadership.

Sliding Scale/Free Access

Ensure that all healing services remain available to community members, regardless of their financial situation, by continuing our sliding-scale model.
