$5000 (6 hours max) of wellness immersion

Financial Investment
A 50% deposit is required after retreats are scheduled, and the remaining balance will be due the day of the event.
Retreats scheduled outside of the Greater Kalamazoo area will be invoiced for travel at the IRS Standard Travel Rate of $0.66/mile.
Performances
Performances will be curated with the audience in mind. Does the audience want to see the youth perform? Is it an event that wants more interaction? Do you desire to inspire or educate? Rootead offers a variety of experts in the drum and dance edutainment field. These experts lead our youth pre-professional company to perform, engage and gain stipends for their hard work!
RYDDE (Rootead Youth Drum & Dance Ensemble)
RYDDE is a pre-professional dance and drum company that consists of youth ages 13 – 18 years old.
- RYDDE performances are scheduled in fifteen (15) minute increments with a maximum of forty-five (45) minutes.
- All of our performances are designed to be interactive to keep alive the culture of the African Diaspora
- This may look like body percussion with the audience, learning a dance, learning a song, call and response or a dance party vibe at the end!
Rootead OG’s
A conglomerate of adult drum and dance practitioners who want to keep the traditions of West African Diaspora ethnomusicology alive! Collectively we come with over 100 years of collaborative and individualistic experiences.

$500 15 minute performance (2 drummers/3-5 dancers)

$1000 45 minute performance (full ensemble 7+drummers/10+dancers)
