Rootead Summer Camp is for youth ages 5 – 12. Youth will learn the fundamentals of West African Drum & Dance, make African-inspired crafts, learn Mancala – the oldest game in the world! Each summer camp Friday, the youth will share what they’ve learned with their families at showcase/celebration!
There will be two sessions this year, and the dates are:
Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Monday, July 17 – Friday, July 21, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Snacks are provided, but youth will need to bring a cold, packed lunch.
The cost of the summer camp is $200/week. Scholarships are available. Payments can be made during registration, made via CashApp, PayPal, or Venmo, or paid in person at the first session.
