About Rootead

Our Mission

Reclaiming the village by holding spaces for birthing justice, youth enrichment and healing arts.

Masked people outside, many holding or wearing babies, standing a few feet apart across some grass with a cityscape in the background

Why the "tea" in our name?

To remind us to move easy, steep and sip all things in life, fully and mindfully. To be soothed through all the ups and downs life brings, and remember above all else that we are not alone, deeply connected and rooted with one another.

a village for everyone

where they can experience healing and liberation
