Grief Circle
If you are experiencing grief, we welcome you to our monthly Grief Circles on the second Saturday of each month, 10:00AM – 12:00PM and facilitated by Iilona Erskine.
A monthly gathering to connect, reflect, and heal in community. Together, we create space to support ourselves and one another while exploring simple, restorative practices that help us navigate grief, cultivate resilience, and continue finding moments of joy, hope, and wonder.
Our Grief Circles are offered at no charge, but we welcome donations to help cover the cost of doing this work.
When: Last Saturday of the month, 10 AM -noon beginning July 11 and running through December 12
Where: Rootead
What is grief?
Grief is the experience of coping with loss. Grief can accompany any event that disrupts or challenges our sense of normalcy or ourselves. This includes the loss of connections that define us. You may grieve the loss of:
- A loved one.
- A marriage, friendship or another form of kinship.
- Your home, neighborhood or community.
- Your job or career.
- Financial stability.
- A dream or goal.
- Good health.
- Your youth.
- Fertility.
- Your own loss of life as you prepare for death.
